This is a parable painting of relentless love — the Shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to find the one who is lost. Here, compassion becomes courage, and grace takes form in sacrifice. The Shepherd does not count the cost, for every soul is priceless in His eyes. The One reminds us that divine love is personal — that you are the one, I am the one, we all are the one — sought, found, and carried home upon the shoulders of mercy.
